Raja Jackson strikes plea deal after assault on professional wrestler
Raja Jackson, son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, has reached a plea agreement following his arrest for assaulting a professional wrestler at a Los Angeles event in August 2025.
Plea Agreement Reached
Raja Jackson, 26-year-old son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors. Jackson pleaded no-contest to one felony count of battery with serious bodily injury and admitted to two special allegations, including personal infliction of great bodily injury and engaging in violent conduct.
Sentencing Details
A sentencing date has been set for June 22. According to the District Attorney's Office, Jackson's anticipated sentence is 90 days of actual county jail time, along with restitution of $81,703.38 and two years of formal probation.
The Incident
Jackson's arrest stemmed from an assault on professional wrestler Syko Stu (real name: Stuart Smith) at a Knockx show in Los Angeles in August 2025. Jackson was scheduled to interfere in a match but went off script when he lifted Smith into the air and slammed him to the ground. Jackson then delivered more than 20 punches, many landing after Smith appeared to lose consciousness, before other wrestlers finally removed him from the ring.
Smith was hospitalized and spent several days in intensive care. He suffered trauma to both upper and lower jaws, a laceration to his upper lip, and a fracture to the maxilla bone, resulting in the loss of several teeth.
Prior to the in-ring assault, Smith had struck Jackson with a beer can, mistakenly believing Jackson was another wrestler involved in the event. Video footage later showed Smith apologizing and shaking hands with Jackson, after which Jackson was seen on a live stream vowing to seek revenge "for real."
